SprayMax DualFan Nozzle - DF
SprayMax Asymmetric DualFan Nozzles
The DF Dual Fan Nozzle employs extended range flat fan tips in an asymmetric dual cap.
The dual tips are oriented 10° forward and 50° rearward to provide a combination of penetration and backside coverage in complex canopies.
To maximize coverage, the nozzles may be alternated on the boom to provide four angles of spray orientation into the canopy, effectively spraying the target four times in one pass. Other spray tips may be substituted.
DF nozzles may be used with PWM (pulse width modulation) systems such as Aim Command™, Capstan Synchro™ or Raven Hawkeye™ systems, in order to maximize coverage with contact chemicals.
With Pulse Width Modulation systems, larger spray nozzles are typically used to achieve a wider range of application rates and travel speeds. A specific pressure is usually set, and as speed (or application rate) changes, the duration of the pulse is altered.
Many air injected or Venturi nozzles cannot be used with PWM due to the rapid on-off nature of the system. Our conventional DualFan nozzle can be used to help maximize coverage with the AIM Command®/SharpShooter™ systems. If the DF nozzles are alternated on the boom, four different angles of orientation can be achieved, rather than just the one that you would get with the standard PWM system. Four patterns are better than one!
